"Waiting for Water"
A worship and missions series for the Season of Lent
During the Season of Lent, we visit the stories of Jesus's miracles and teachings at the lakeside, the pool, the river Jordan. . .where water washes away our sins and connects us to God.
Clean water is so essential to life and yet in short supply in many parts of our world. In conjunction with our worship series, we'll also challenge ourselves to support the construction of a new well in the Amani community in Tanzania. Amani means peace in Swahili. The Amani community is an approved NGO (non governmental organization)working in rural central Tanzania which our own Cathy Lease visited in 2009.
